SAM Sadler claimed his second trophy of the summer after winning Five Lakes Golf Club's Professionals Shield.
Sadler (22), on plus three, claimed victory in the Gents 18-hole bogey/par qualifying competition.
Good scoring was very difficult on the Links course, with easterly winds making their presence felt.
Paul Bowers (7) was runner-up on plus two, ahead of third-placed Pat McSweeney (13) who finished on level.
Roger Springall (12) came close with one under to finish fourth, just outside the main prizes.
A quartet of players - Alan Garnett, John Mayle, Bernie Sheldrake and Ian Kirkman - returned two under.
Birdie twos were recorded by Ron Dent on the long and tricky eighth hole, along with Pat McSweeney and Alan Garnett on the downhill tenth.
