SOUTHMINSTER Bowls Club were victorious as they welcomed a team from Maldon Bowls Club to play a four-triples friendly game.
The weather was blustery but everyone enjoyed the game, with Southminster winning by four shots.
Southminster Bowls Club is situated on King George V Memorial Playing Field.
New members are welcome, with the first year's bowling fee being only £25.
