DANNY Buchan ended an eventful season at Brands Hatch.

Buchan, from Burnham on Crouch, was riding for the second time for the PBM BE WISER Team on a Kawasaki ZX-10R.

He had a good free practice session putting him fourth in the standings.

Qualifying on Saturday took place on a damp track and he made it through the first two sessions and into the final shoot out for grid positions.

He took a well-earned third place only 1.055 seconds behind eventual race winner and 2015 Champion Josh Brookes on the front row of the grid.

At the start of race one, on Saturday, Buchan lost ground and by the end of lap three had dropped to fifth which he held until lap five.

Mossey then passed him and Buchan retained sixth position for several laps until on lap nine he re-passed Mossey.

The battle continued for four laps when Mossey again took advantage, demoting Buchan once more and on the next few laps both Ellison and Jackson got past dropping him further down the order.

Buchan finished the race in a creditable 8th place.

Buchan started from seventh position on row three of the grid for race two on Sunday and from the off was engaged in a close battles throughout the race.

After 19 gruelling laps he finished in ninth position.

Race three, on Sunday, saw Buchan start from the second row of the grid in fifth place and managed to take the chequered flag for the final race of 2015 in seventh place.
