Maldon and Tiptree were held to a draw in their second match of the season.

The Jammers were denied at the death as visiting Redbridge came back to claim a 3-3 Ryman Division North draw on Tuesday night.

Maldon took the lead when Darren McQueen scored on 26 minutes with a left-foot volley.

Redbridge then went close to an equaliser but the effort hit the post.

But soon afterwards they did level when a sliced clearance from Gavin Greenfield on 33 minutes went straight up and was headed home by Ronnie Winn.

After the break, the Jammers stormed back into the lead when Lewis Probert headed home from a corner on 52 minutes.

But that lead didn’t last long as two minutes later Joe Gent made it 2-2.

But Maldon took the lead when Nnamdi Nwachku’s scored on 72 minutes.

Redbridge equalised again when Daniel Jones scored at the death after a free-kick missed everyone and Danny Sambridge appeared to be fouled but the referee let the goal stand.

Brightlingsea Regent fought back to force a 2-2 against visiting Bury Town.

Town took the lead on 18 minutes through Alex Steed.

Bradley Barber then increased their lead on 33 minutes.

But after the break, Regent pulled a goal back through Luke Milbourne on 53 minutes.

And Jake Turner then equalised for the home side from the penalty spot on 59 minutes.

Witham Town were denied victory at home by a late goal as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Great Wakering Rovers.

Danny Emmanuel opened the scoring for Witham when he made it 1-0 on 37 minutes with a left-footed shot.

John Watson then made it 2-0 on 52 minutes after the break following a pull back from Emmanuel.

On 90 minutes, Dan Trenkel pulled a goal back for Rovers before Jacob Cleaver scored in injury-time to secure the draw.
