On Saturday was the men’s annual Captain v Vice-Captain team event.
Sixty-four players were in action on a cold but sunny afternoon.
It was 7½ to 7½ and all square with just the captain and vice-captain to finish.
The final result was a win for the vice-captain to secure the match.
Nearest the pins were: Bob Sullivan, Colin Barnes and Nick Price.
An excellent event with £470 raised towards the captain’s charity, Parkinsons.
