MALDON and Tiptree boss Alan Kimble is delighted with his side’s winning form.

The Jammers made it three wins in a row with a Ryman League division one north 2-0 victory at Soham Town Rangers on Saturday.

Goals from Mason Bloomfield and Matt Gulfer secured the three points and a march up to 14th in the table.

The win followed hot on the heels of a 2-0 success at Romford last Wednesday and a battling 3-2 win against Redbridge at Park Drive the weekend before.

Kimble has been buoyed by his side’s recent run of good form, a four-match unbeaten run that has seen them steadily move away from the relegation zone.

And the Jammers manager is aiming to be no longer looking over his shoulder.

He said: “We are 19 points off the play-off places.

“I have always thought that somebody can sneak into the play-off positions, be it us or another team.

“You just need to keep a run going.

“We have won three and drawn one and we just need to keep going.

“It is tight at the bottom but we are looking up.”

Kimble is also targeting another win on Saturday against Tilbury and another climb up the table.

The Dockers sit in 12th place and are two points above the Jammers.
