AT the Great Bentley half-marathon, Tiptree Road Runners put in solid performances.

Paul Mingay continued his return from injury with a run of one hour, 24 minutes and 17 seconds, followed by Andrew Conway in 1h 31m 17s and Tracy Harrington in 1h 38m 31s.

Gary Perryman (1h 41m 43s) and Alex Beardall (1h 47m 36s) made their club debuts at the distance with Mark Shillaker running 1h 47m 27s.

Zoe Gould improved her personal best by four minutes in a time of 2h 4m 4s, with Jo Dickman and Chris King finishing in the same time.

Paula Rothero ran 2h 6m 39s, Jo Roblin 2h 6m 42s, Sally Wood 2h 26m 30s and Alia Hamden 2h 27m 13s.

James Haskey-Jones took second place at the Maldon Prom Parkrun with a time of 19m 16s.

Peter Bouldstridge ran 24m 41s, while Lynne Baines took two minutes off her season’s best with a run of 27m 5s.

Dawn Shilling ran 29m 44s and Rose Haskey-Jones, back to running after a virus, finished in 31m 18s.

Andrew Conway ran 20m 34s at the Lloyd Parkrun in Croydon, finishing in fifth place.

Jeffrey Fairfull completed his first Parkrun in 31m 4s at the Brentwood event with Finlay Newman running 31m 31s and Anthony Knight 31m 24s.

Jonathan Finch finished the Colchester Parkrun in 29m 12s.

Anthony Knight tackled The Gladiator, a mix of rough running, river running, tyre crawls, nets, barbed wire and hay bales.

He completed the tough eight-mile event in 1h 48m 1s.
