Maldon and Tiptree secured a good win against visiting Cray Wanderers.
The Jammers recorded a 3-1 Ryman League division one north victory at Park Drive.
Both sides cancelled each other out in the first half and the match was level at 0-0 going into the break.
However, it was the home side that stamped their authority on the game in the second half.
Mason Bloomfield opened the scoring for the Jammers on 54 minutes.
It got worse for Wanderers as they were reduced to ten men when Max Fitzgerald received a red card a minute later.
On 65 minutes, Nathan Korangten put the home side further in front when he made it 2-0.
However, Wanderers’ deficit was cut when an own goal made it 2-1 on 75 minutes.
But Tunde Adewunni wrapped up the scoring and the win when he scored on 89 minutes to make the final score 3-1.
