MALDON and Tiptree were reduced to ten men for the fifth game running in their Ryman League division one north 5-3 defeat against Great Wakering at Park Drive.
Liam Nash hit the opening goal for the visitors but Nathan Koranteng struck twice on 11 and 25 minutes to give Maldon the lead.
However, Billy Johnson hit an equaliser just before half-time.
Maldon went down to ten men on 57 minutes when Alberto Pinto was shown a red card for a foul.
Wakering then fired in three goals in 15 minutes to seal the game.
Dan Trenkel scored on 71 minutes before Johnson made it 4-2 nine minutes later.
Jay Nash wrapped up the visitors’ scoring on 84 minutes before Alex Andrews his a consolation goal for Maldon on 88 minutes.
