MALDON and Tiptree boss Alan Kimble believes his hard-working team deserve bigger crowds for home matches at Park Drive.
The Jammers’ next two Ryman League division one north fixtures are both at home, against Barkingside on Saturday and Harlow on Tuesday.
And Kimble hopes floating supporters may be tempted to join the club’s hard-core followers at one or both matches.
In-form Maldon have taken ten points from a possible 15 but only 54 people turned up for their last home game – a 4-2 victory against Waltham Abbey.
“It would be nice if a few more people came through the gate to support us,” said the former Wimbledon defender, appointed earlier this season to replace the outgoing Terry Spillane.
