MALDON and Tiptree boss Terry Spillane wants to end the season on a high note.

The Jammers came out of the Easter weekend with a 1-0 win at home against Waltham Abbey and a 2-2 draw at Ryman League division one north play-off chasing Harlow Town.

A goal from Leon McKenzie against Abbey ensured the three points and strikes from McKenzie and Ryan Wade earned the draw at Harlow.

Spillane was pleased with his side’s displays and will be looking to continue that into the last game against Ware at Park Drive on Saturday.

He said: “We went to their place earlier in the season. They caught us on the hop and beat us 2-1 so I think we want a bit of pay back for that.

“I made changes for the two games over Easter to keep people fresh.

“But everyone wants to play in the last game and that’s going to give me a selection headache.”
