HEYBRIDGE Swifts boss Jody Brown was bitterly disappointed that his side missed out on victory at Redbridge.

The visitors were held to a 1-1 Ryman League division one north draw after Robbie King failed to convert a late penalty on Tuesday night.

Brown said: “It’s disappointing not to have taken the win.

“Especially when you are awarded a penalty three minutes from the end of the match.

“But penalty misses happen.

“We also had quite a few chances in the last 15 minutes to win the game as well.

“But credit to the lads for their performance.

“We had four or five key players missing and players playing out of position.

“And we haven’t lost.”
