KEITH Wilson wants to see his Burnham Ramblers side become a more consistent force between now and the end of the season.

And the Ramblers boss believes a strong finish to their current campaign can boost their chances of achieving more success, next year.

Burnham have enjoyed an excellent first-ever season in the Ryman League, exceeding all expectations with their performances.

Wilson believes the Leslie Field outfit are now safe in division one north for another season.

But he is refusing to allow them to rest on their laurels, as last season’s Essex Senior League champions bid to claim a top-ten finish.

Wilson said: “My job is to make sure we get that consistency.

“We’re safe but we have our own target, which we’re keeping in-house and we won’t let the season peter out."
