HEYBRIDGE Swifts boss Jody Brown was pleased with his side's victory at Harlow Town.

Swifts claimed a 4-3 Ryman League division one north win against Harlow on Tuesday night.

Swifts had to come from behind twice before taking a 3-2 lead and then a penalty decision put them in control.

Swifts boss Jody Brown said: “I was really pleased to see such a positive reaction to the first goal.

“We are working hard at changing the culture and the playing style at the club and that was evident for all to see tonight.

“We had 65 per cent of the possession despite being the away team against the form side in the division.

“We also had a few enforced changes but that allowed us to display the squad depth we are developing.

“The penalty we were awarded was fortunate, but so were all three of their goals, all second phase set plays scrambled in from close range.

“We can build on this performance and I am thankful we got the points our possession deserved.”
