MALDON and Tiptree were left kicking their heels again, much to the frustration of manager Terry Spillane.
The Jammers were without a game on Saturday as their Park Drive pitch was waterlogged for the visit of Ryman League division one north leaders VCD Athletic.
And the wet weather struck again on Tuesday when the visit of Aveley had to be postponed.
Maldon’s last game was the 3-0 defeat to Witham Town on January 21 and they haven’t taken to the pitch since.
Spillane said: “The match on Tuesday night was touch and go.
“If it hadn’t been for a downpour in the morning I think we would have played – I was driving home in the sunshine in the afternoon.
“It is very frustrating, you can only do so much in training.
“We are away at Dereham Town at the weekend and we are in the hands of the Gods.”
