Grizzly challenge for Tiptree Road Runners

TIPTREE Road Runners took on a grizzly challenge.
The Grizzly, held in Devon, is a 20-mile experience of mud, hills, cliffs, beaches, bogs and river crossings in good weather.
James Haskey-Jones was first home for Tiptree Road Runners in three hours six minutes 15 seconds to take 77th position and 11th in his age category.
Craig Dawson finished in 3h 28m 50s, followed by Paul Dellar in 3h 31m 28s and Vicky Knight in 3h 41m 14s, who took 19th place in her age category.
Other Tiptree finishers were Paul Mingay (3h 52m 2s), Tracy Harrington (4h 6m 19s), Jamie Fairfull (4h 17m 9s), Phill Clarke (4h 7m 19s) and Anthony Knight (4h 7m 19s).
In the nine-mile Cub event, run over similar terrain, Simon Morgan finished in 1h 17m 35s to take ninth position.
Ted Skinner ran 1h 28m 45s followed by Graeme Moon (1h 33m 48s), Malcolm Bailey (1h 43m 41s), Jeff Fairfull (1h 55m 53s) and John McVelia (1h 58m 21s).
Lynn Baines and Wendy Smalley finished in 2h 5m 5s, followed by Dawn Shilling (2h 22m 40s), Rose Haskey-Jones (2h 22m 46s) and Rebecca McVelia (2h 22m 50s).
In the junior races, Abigail Morgan finished the four kilometre event in 18m.
Joseph McVelia ran the 2K in 12m 48s and Daisy Greenwood also finished the 2K.
