Chelmsford is a happy hunting ground for Tiptree Road Runners

THE Chelmsford Parkrun 5K series is producing good results for Tiptree Road Runners.
Andrew Conway completed his first 5K for the club with a strong 19 minutes 26 seconds to take third place on Saturday, with Mark Lawes finishing in 22m and Rob Hadgraft running 23m 42s. At the previous week’s event, Simon Morgan ran a season’s best of 19m 40s to take first V45.
Wendy Smalley improved her personal best for the distance by almost three minutes, finishing in 27m 56s.
At the Kingston Parkrun, Ted Skinner finished in 21m 28s.
Rose Haskey-Jones completed her first ten-mile race for the club at the St Luke’s Ten on the Ford test track at Dunton.
Running in freezing, windy, conditions, she finished in 1h 43m 8s.
