Three first-half goals saw Heybridge Swifts move up the table.
They secured a 3-0 victory at Scraley Road against visiting Romford to go third in Ryman League division one north.
The home side opened the scoring on 17 minutes through Michael Cheek's penalty strike.
On 40 minutes Swifts made it 2-0 when Russell Malton hit a low shot into the net.
And the home side made it 3-0 just before the break when Luke Callander scored from inside the area.
