LEADERS Maldon and Tiptree extended their unbeaten league run with yet another victory.
But it was a close battle against visiting Thamesmead Town as the hosts ran out 1-0 winners in their Ryman League division one north encounter.
The all-important goal came in the 14th minute from the penalty spot.
Ollie Berquez was brought down by Lea Dawson and Jamie Guy made no mistake with the spot-kick.
