Maldon and Tiptree maintained their position at the top with a good win at Tilbury.
The visitors secured a 4-2 victory to keep themselves four points clear in Ryman League division one north.
The home side opened the scoring but four minutes later Maldon equalised through a Jamie Guy strike.
Tilbury, however, retook the lead but it was Guy, again, who equalised for Maldon, this time from the penalty spot.
The visitors went in front for the first time in the second half when Jack Gardner gave them a 3-2 lead from the edge of the area.
Guy wrapped things up late on when he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot to secure the three points.
