TIPTREE Road Runners racked up more personal bests at the Stebbing 10.

Glen Reeve took 38 seconds off his previous mark with a run of 76 minutes seven seconds and Tina Clarke improved by ten seconds in 82m 56s.

Stuart Meddemann was first home for the club in 72m 19s, with Jim Slater finishing in 79m 21s and Phill Clarke in 82m 56s.

The second race in the Essex cross-country league at Hilly Fields, in Colchester, saw Simon Morgan lead the club home in 109th position followed by Paul Dellar in 125th.

Ted Skinner, nursing a back problem, finished in 138th while Tim Ford made the long trip from the south coast to take part, finishing in 160th place.

Vince Monk made a welcome return to running in 166th position. At the 12-mile Hylands Hobble trail race, Craig Dawson continued his recent great form to take fourth place with a run of 1h 39m 45s, with Sean Ketteridge taking fifth place in 1h 43m 38s.

Tracy Harrington and Paul Dellar finished in 2h 16s, followed by Peter Bouldstridge in 2h 18m 39s and Malcolm Bailey in 2h 18m 47s.
