Braintree Town's squad for the coming season has continued to take shape with the announcement that four players have joined the Iron.

Manager Brad Quinton has completed the formalities of signing defenders Samir Bihmoutine and Marc-Anthony Okoye as well as midfield due Scott Shulton and George Craddock.

Shulton will be a familiar face for Iron fans and returns to the club after making 24 appearances in their 2010/11 Blue Squad Bet South championship-winning side alongside Quinton.

Shulton, who is 27, left the club before they began life in the premier division and headed to Bishop's Stortford, where he had five seasons before linking up with Quinton again at Enfield Town in the Ryman League premier division.

The former Wycombe Wanderers trainee has also had spells at Hendon and Wingate & Finchley.

Joining him in the Iron's centre will be Craddock, who is a 22-year-old goal-scoring midfielder.

He is a former Northampton Town scholar and signed a one-year professional contract with the Cobblers before more recently spending time with National League South side East Thurrock United.

Quinton has also started building his defence.

Bihmoutine is a 23-year-old dynamic attacking left back/wing back.

He spent 11 years at Arsenal, including a year as a full professional and then a full year at Bournemouth, from where he spent loan spells at both at Wealdstone in the National South and Hayes & Yeading.

Okoye, is a 24-year-old towering centre-half who has spent recent seasons with Ryman League premier division sides Merstham and Dulwich Hamlet.
