BRAINTREE Town will be hoping for better fortune than the last time they Torquay United paid them a visit when the Gulls return in the FA Trophy first round proper later this month.
Torquay left as 3-1 winners when they came to Cressing Road in the Vanarama National League on August Bank Holiday Monday, but will face a changed Braintree when they return.
There has been a managerial change for the Iron since the last encounter, with Hakan Hayrettin taking the reins after the departure of Jamie Day and the hosts will be hoping for a different outcome this time.
The Trophy game, which is the first in the competition for both this year, is set to take place at the Ironmongery Direct Stadium on December 10 and will be Braintree's only home game between now and Christmas.
