THE singles and doubles finals in the 67th annual Frinton Junior Open took place at Holland Road.

After a gruelling series of matches, the 18 and under and 16 and under boys' single titles were won in spectacular style by Angus Osborne, from Leicester.

Competitors came from far afield to have a stab at winning their age category matches.

The competition was fierce and many matches were close-fought in the deciding sets.

The fastest serve was won by Richard Baldwin, with Watcham scoring six aces throughout the games.

Organiser McLain, who is hoping to run another similar tournament before the grass courts close, said: "It's great to get the guys together for some competitive tennis and we had a great line-up on court."
