Dominic Vose insists he never wanted to leave Colchester United.
Despite being a regular member of former manager Joe Dunne’s U’s side, Vose found himself surplus to requirements under current boss Tony Humes.
Vose failed to start any games under Humes, leading to his exit from Colchester earlier this month.
But the former West Ham United youngster said he wanted to stay at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Vose said: “I’m a little bit disappointed with how things went, prior to me leaving."
