Essex Senior Cup draw made for Burnham Ramblers and Maldon and Tiptree

Maldon and Tiptree and Burnham Ramblers know who they will face in the third round of the Essex Senior Cup.

The draw was made by Colchester United manager Joe Dunne at the club’s new Florence Park training facility.

With ten first and second round ties already complete there were eight sides from the Essex Senior and Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Leagues in the hat to join clubs from the npower Football League, the Blue Square Bet Conference and the Ryman Isthmian League.

Maldon entertain Thurlow Nunn premier division side Stanway Rovers.

Burnham Ramblers though will have to travel to Roots Hall to take on npower League Two's Southend United.

The ties are due to take place on or before November 3.
