Everitt heading back to Maldon and Tiptree

FRANKIE Everitt is heading back to Maldon and Tiptree.

The centre-half or full-back has been snapped-up after being released by Brentwood Town.

The paperwork for his move should be completed before the end of this week.

“I’m 99 per cent certain the transfer will go through,” said Maldon boss Terry Spillane.

“Frankie was released last week and as soon as I found out, I made contact.

“I’m really pleased because he’s an experienced player, having played Ryman League premier division football for Canvey Island.

“He’s also got an affiliation with Maldon and was player-of-the-year during his time at Park Drive.

“I know he’s looking forward to coming back and being reacquainted with some old friends.”

Maldon have no game this weekend, in which case Everitt’s first match could be away to Waltham Abbey next Tuesday.
