Tillingham lose out at Woodham Mortimer

TILLINGHAM just lost out at Woodham Mortimer.
The visitors won the toss and decided to bowl.
Runs flowed very well for the home team throughout the innings with some good knocks of 55 and 68.
Terry Stiffell bowled well, grabbing four wickets off 11 overs for only 38 runs and wickets also fell for Clay and Ford.
The home side eventually went on to make 241 for nine off 45 overs at tea.
Tillingham scored well in reply with Cummins scoring 29, Ford 48 and Butterwick 31.
However, the home side just kept the edge, Stiffell scored a nice quick 42 but it wasn’t quite enough as Tillingham slipped to 219 all out.
