MALDON Town's Essex Senior Cup match on Tuesday night has been postponed.

Maldon were due to take on Coca-Cola League One side Colchester United in the quarter-final of the competition.

However, the U's Weston Homes Community Stadium pitch has been deemed unplayable after the recent wet weather.

A new date for the match is yet to be confirmed.
