TO commemorate the recent passing away of Five Lakes president Alan Riches, all sections of the golf club played in a one-off competition.

Players from the men’s, ladies, veterans and junior sections played together to show their gratitude to Riches’s memory.

The competition played off the yellow tees for men and the ladies red tees saw some really good scoring from the members. Ian Cottee (10) was just outside the prizes in fourth place with 39 points.

However, third place went to Mick Garwood (20) with 40 points, second place went to Matt Sommerville (9) 42 points, but the winner of this very special day was Clive Taylor (14) with 47.
