BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent showed no respect for Ryman League division north placings as Aaron Condon's hat-trick inspired them to a win on the road at leaders Phoenix Sports.

The division north front-runners had been beaten just once this season on their own turf ahead of the visit of James Webster's side, but Regent gave that little regard as they came away with a 3-0 victory.

It was helped by the 74th minute dismissal of the hosts' Jack Hopkins, but Brightlingsea were holding the lead then anyway after Condon had put them ahead in the 42nd minute.

And they completed the job after the sending off with the former FC Clacton hot-shot adding two more goals in the 77th and 83rd minutes to wrap-up his hat-trick and a three-point haul.

There were also three goals and as many points for HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS as they ended an eight-game run without a win to triumph 3-1 at home against Cheshunt.

George Cole got Swifts off and running with a goal in the 14th minute at Scraley Road and despite Billy Jones levelling for the visitors two minutes later, the hosts soon restored control.

Reece Grant fired home to give them the lead in the 24th minute and Cole got his second of the game five minutes after the break to make the points safe.

There were also three goals for the winner in MALDON & TIPTREE'S game at Tilbury, but unfortunately for the Jammers, it was the hosts who got them.

Things had started well for Maldon and they were two goals to the good after nine minutes, but the Dockers hit back to take the points.

Sam Newson put the visitors ahead in the eighth minute and Liam Nash doubled the Jammers' lead a minute later from the penalty spot, but that was as good as it got for them.

After the early setbacks, Tilbury were back level by half-time thanks to strikes from Tony Martin and Toby Aromoloran and they snatched the 3-2 victory with an 81st minute winner from Emiel Aiken.

A see-saw game saw WITHAM TOWN share the spoils with visiting Aveley, but while it wasn't the win they would have been hoping for as they led with five minutes to go, their 2-2 draw did end a run of three back-to-back defeats.

Adam Flint's team had to come from behind after conceding the opening goal to an Abayami Seymour strike in the 22nd minute and it was a lead that Aveley held until half-time.

Scott Kemp restored parity with a goal after the break and Tim Monsheju put Witham ahead in the 75th minute, but just as thoughts were turning to a three-point haul, Aveley's Daniel McCulloch snatched a point with an 86th minute equaliser.
