THERE was another great performance at the annual Clacton Beach Rugby event by Burnham on Crouch Rugby Club.

This year saw the club take five teams, 60 players and 20 supporters over to the seaside town.

As always, there was some stiff competition, but as always a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Burnham on Crouch were delighted to find two of their teams the Burnham Minions - under-sevens - and the Burnham Crufts - ladies - in the semi-finals.

The ladies team were pleased to make the semi-finals once again after going from strength to strength in their matches.

Starting with a loss, building to a draw in the second match before a win in the third match, before losing in the final against Maldon by one try.

Once again the club are proud of how they not only played but also the sportsmanship they displayed throughout the day.
