TILLINGHAM Bowls Club's ladies welcomed Maldon's ladies for a two triples friendly match.
The hosts won on both rinks and finished with a score line of 33 shots to 22.
Tillingham’s Chelmsford and District team took a break from league action and travelled to Great Baddow to play their B team in the first round of the Atkinson Shield.
Tillingham progressed to the next round, winning with an overall score of 76 shots to 39.
