BURNHAM RAMBLERS manager Keith Wilson admits he just wants to get through the next four Essex Senior League games and draw a "massive line" under a testing season at Leslie Field.

Wilson has said that he is considering his future as Ramblers boss after a campaign that has proved tough to get a settled side and then been capped by an FA charge for violent conduct against an official that he felt was unjustified.

The latest setback came with a 4-0 league defeat by Stansted last weekend and Wilson just wants to get the final four games out of the way, starting with Saturday’s home fixture against Greenhouse Sports (kick-off 3pm).

“It’s a horrible thing to say, but we literally just want to get the next four games out of the way and pick up as many points as we can,” said Wilson.

“My aim is to get through the next four games and when we get to five past five on April 23, we can draw a massive line under this season.

“I can then have the chats with people that I have said I need to have.

“It’s hard and it’s been demoralising, but we have to keep going.”
