FORRESTER Park Golf Club’s Roy Valentine enjoyed success as the veterans played a divisional medal competition which incorporated the Jock Morrison Trophy.

Valentine was winner of the gold division with a nett 65, which was also the best round of the day and took the Jock Morrison Trophy.

Chris Collins was second in the gold division and runner-up for the Jock Morrison Trophy with a nett 68.

Tom Nugent won the silver division with nett 73 from Gerald Pearson, who was one shot behind.

The bronze division winner was Eric Coleman, with nett 71, beating Peter Murrell on countback.

Forrester Park’s ladies played a three-player team game where the best score counted on par fives, the best two on par fours and all three counted on par threes.

The winners, with a score of 73 points, were the team of Margaret Triston, Dawn Marriott and Jane Collier, with Irene Hoffman, Judy Podd and Carol Manning in second place with 72.

The men played a stableford for the Easter Cup, which was won by Chris Surridge with 44 points.

Don Grimsey was second with 41 points and Jim Chisholm third with 40.
