THE Forrester Park veterans played their Annual Foursomes competition.
It was won by Eric Hoffman and Richard Groves with a score of nett 68.5 after a countback to beat Chris Collins and Alf Hill.
Ted Moulds and Peter Morrell were third with nett 72.0.
The ladies played their first 18-hole competition of the new season which was the March Stableford.
Result: 1 Judy Podd 31 pts, 2 Dawn Marriott 29 pts, 3 Lorraine Wilson 27 pts.
Nine-hole competition: 1 Pam Gibbard.
The men’s Sunday competition was a fundraiser for the Basildon Cup, where the entry fees are donated to the Junior Section.
The winner, after a countback, was Lloyd Hatcliff with 42 points.
Thomas Potter was second, also with 42 points, and John Luxford third with 39.
