IT was a tight battle for the Warren’s July Monthly Stableford.
Steve Hawkins took top spot with an excellent 39 points.
Sam Kinnane was second with 38 with Ken Moss stealing third place with 36, on countback.
The Ladies’ Robert Harris Cup was also played this week and won by ladies’ club champion, Julie Askem, with a nett 70.
Janis Holdcroft took second place with nett 72.
The Warren Seniors had an excellent 5½-2½ home victory against Crondon Park last week with Steve Wren and Bob Burkle, stealing the show with a 6&4 victory.
Alan Smith took the nearest the pin prize for The Warren.
The Open Medal was also played recently and won by Dave Ransley with an excellent nett 65.
Paul Wrench took second place with a nett 67 with Dave Lysandrou taking third place with a nett 68.
The July Midweek Medal was also played last week and won by cadet Jonathan Mooney with a nett 67.
Jonathan Phillips took second place with a nett 68 with Steve Wren taking third place with a nett 69.
