THE draws have been made for the early rounds of next season’s FA Cup, FA Vase and FA Trophy competitions.

In the FA Cup extra preliminary round, STANWAY ROVERS face a trip to Clapton, WIVENHOE TOWN will entertain Tower Hamlets and FC CLACTON host Eton Manor.

BRANTHAM ATHLETIC have been handed a trip to Hertfordshire side FC Broxbourne Borough.

Ryman League division one north sides enter at the preliminary round stage and there is an eye-catching tie between WITHAM TOWN and BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT.

HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS are away to Redbridge and MALDON & TIPTREE travel to the winners of the Hullbridge Sports v Hadleigh United tie.

In the Vase, Clacton have a first round qualifying date at home to Stansted.

Brantham are at home to Sawbridgeworth Town and HALSTEAD TOWN – who are not in next season’s FA Cup – have been handed a tough tie at home to Haverhill Rovers.

Wivenhoe have received a bye into the second qualifying round and will host Basildon United at the Maple Tree Cars Stadium.

Stanway do not play until the second round proper as a reward for their amazing run in the competition last season.

In the FA Trophy preliminary round, Brightlingsea travel to Thamesmead, Heybridge are away to Aylesbury United, Maldon host Ramsgate and Witham are at home to Herne Bay.

The FA Cup extra preliminary round ties – featuring 736 teams up and down the country, all dreaming of a long, lucrative run in the world-famous competition - will be played on August 15.

The preliminary round will then follow on August 29.

The Vase gets under way on September 5 and the Trophy on October 3.

Meanwhile, in other non-league news, full-back of centre-half Blake Panrucker has joined Clacton from coastal neighbours Holland FC.
