THE Halstead Marathon saw three county medals for Tiptree Road Runners.

Tracy Harrington took two with a run of 3h 36m 17s to finish third Essex lady overall and second F45.

Graeme Moon finished in 4h 28m 14s to take second in the V60 category. Andy Goodson ran 4h 13m 33s followed by Malcolm Bailey in 4h 13m 35s and Zoe Gould making her club marathon debut in 5h 29m 39s.

At the Colchester 10K, Paul Mingay took seventh place in 36m 39s, with Simon Morgan running a season’s best of 42m 54s.

Kate Finch set a club F40 record and personal best of 43m 5s and Matt Davey also claimed a club M35 record, finishing in 44m 30s.

Abigail Morgan ran a season’s best of 49m 58s, with Anthony Knight tired from a half-marathon the previous day finishing in 53m 12s and Dawn Shilling running 57m 6s.

The first race of the Harwich 5K handicap series saw very windy conditions.

Gary Perryman finished in 21m 13s, Simon Morgan 21m 18s and Abigail Morgan 23m 23s.

In other races, Anthony Knight ran the off-road Bewl half-marathon, finishing in 2h 6m.

Craig Dawson tackled the Rat Race Dirty Weekend obstacle race, completing the course in 4h 33m.

Karen Pearce finished the Hackney half-marathon in 2h 38m 3s and Gary Perryman ran the off-road Alton Water 10K in 44m 28s.

At the Maldon Prom Parkrun, James Haskey-Jones finished third in a season’s best of 18m 43s, followed by Jonathan Finch in a personal best of 20m 9s. Stuart Meddemmen ran 22m 39s, Peter Bouldstridge 24m 7s, Roger Duffield 32m 38s and Peter Banks 40m 24s.

Sean Pope finished the Colchester Parkrun in 28m 38s and Dawn Shilling finished the Great Notley Parkrun in 28m 40s.
