BURNHAM Ramblers boss Bertie Brayley is hoping a period of stability can help his side gain some much needed points.

Ramblers sit rock-bottom in the Ryman League division one north and Saturday’s 3-0 defeat against AFC Sudbury didn’t help their cause.

High-flying Sudbury though were made to work for their win but managed to score three second-half goals to take the points at Leslie Field.

It was a tough fixture for Ramblers, especially with players coming and going throughout the season.

Brayley has found it difficult to put out the same team and get some continuity on the pitch. The Ramblers boss, whose side travel to Thamesmead Town on Saturday and then Ware next Tuesday, is hoping that things have now settled down.

He said: “The team we had out on Saturday looked settled until the first goal went in.

“It looked good and I think I am going to stick with that side until the end of the season.

“We need a bit of stability, we have had a lot of players coming and going over the season. And to be fair some of them needed to go.

“Unless someone comes in and really impresses then that is the team I will be putting out."
