THE sixth round of this season’s Five Lakes’ Seniors’ Winter League was played on the Lakes Course.
The sharp overnight Arctic weather conditions had left the fairways and greens frozen for most of the morning.
The tricky conditions required players to pitch well in front of the greens to prevent a lengthy putt or chip back to the hole.
Six teams competed in the three-ball Texas Scramble Stableford competition, played off 1/7 combined handicaps, with the individual accumulated points carried over to the final round in March.
The players, whose best five rounds out of the seven, will compete for the top positions.
