LAST week saw the first of this year’s Burnham on Crouch men’s board competitions.
The Len Turner is open to the winter pairs golfers and is a foursomes competition played off of half combined handicap.
Amazingly the sun shone with a good breeze and the course played well for the time of year.
Twenty-six pairs played the competition with the points ranging from 22 to 35.
Result: 1 AJ and Ryan Davies 35 pts, 2 Simon Orrin and Will Davey 34 pts, 3 Paul Hegarty and Ricky Blake 33 pts.
