MALDON and Tiptree manager Alan Kimble is feeling confident after continuing his side’s unbeaten run.

The Jammers secured a 3-1 win at Park Drive against visiting Cray Wanderers last weekend which saw them climb up to 16th place in the Ryman League division one north table.

And they face a tough encounter against fifth-placed AFC Sudbury this Saturday.

However, Kimble isn’t fazed by taking on the top teams in the division.

Kimble said: “It’s just another game for us – it will be a tough one.

“But we seem, of late, to be doing better against the teams that are in the top half of the table.

“We are in confident mood at the club, we have gone four games unbeaten and are 15 points off the play-off positions.

“We have got 17 games left and we have got a lot to play for.

“Our next two games on the road are tough (AFC Sudbury and Wroxham), in fact the next three games (Needham Market at home) are against sides in the top six.

“But there are no easy games in this division.”
