Elphinstone hits a hole-in-one
IT has been a quiet week at Burnham-on-Crouch but last Saturday many people took the opportunity to play in gorgeous sunshine on a course that has held up really well to the past rain.
The bonus for many of the players was the hole in one by David Elphinstone, on the par three fifth, who bought a packed club all a drink.
The veterans played their December medal this Monday.
Result: 1 John Hutton 70 nett, 2 Ray Smith 71 nett.
