Alan Kimble secured his first win as Maldon and Tiptree manager in the Tolleshunt D’Arcy Cup.
The Jammers destroyed Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division Coggeshall Town 6-0 on Tuesday night to go through to the semi-finals of the competition.
Kimble said: “It was a good result. The lads played really well and you have to beat the sides that are put in front of you.
“We scored six goals and kept a clean sheet.
“And it is good to get that first win – it’s been a long time coming.”
Kimble also secured three new signings on Tuesday centre-half Yusef Bouamrane, midfielder Simon Glover and centre forward Joshua Oyinsan.
