HEYBRIDGE Swifts manager Keith Wilson was disappointed in the manner of side’s defeat against Cheshunt.
Heybridge went into Tuesday night’s Ryman League division one north fixture on the back of two wins, against Burnham Ramblers and Needham Market.
However, they lost 2-1 and suffered an injury blow when Billy Hunt had to leave the field early on.
Wilson said: “It was a good game between two good footballing sides.
“We passed the ball around better than we have done in games recently.
“But we didn’t really create anything and that’s what I find disappointing.
“We lost Billy Hunt early on and he is always capable of popping up and getting you something out of nothing.
“His injury led to the first goal, it was a little naive on our part.
“We should have kicked the ball out of play but they went on to win it and go up and score.
“We didn’t play that badly but we will have to see how Billy is. I may have to bring someone in as we are looking a bit thin up front.”
