BURNHAM Ramblers boss Bertie Brayley is looking forward to the derby game against Heybridge Swifts.

This Saturday’s Ryman League division one north match against Swifts at Leslie Field sees the return of former Ramblers boss Keith Wilson.

Wislon left Ramblers in the summer to take over at Swifts after former manager Jody Brown left to manage Ryman Premier Grays Athletic.

Brayley said: “I am looking forward to the Swifts game, it doesn’t affect me that Keith is coming back.

“There’s nothing special in that for me.

“It’s a derby game just like the Maldon game and I am out for every point that I can get.

“I’ve played for Heybridge on loan so they are a former club.

“I am just going to approach it as just another game and not going to make a big thing out of it.”

Burnham Ramblers drew 1-1 at Brightlingsea Regent on Tuesday night. Brayley said: “It was a very good point and I was very happy with it.

“It’s always good to get a point away from home.

“We didn’t play very well in the first half, we were poor and our work rate wasn’t there.

“I gave them a talking to at half-time. I told them to have pride in themselves and not to go home without a point.

“And they responded and came out and played well."
