MANAGER Keith Wilson was pleased and disappointed with Heybridge Swifts’ draw against Redbridge.
Swifts were held to a Ryman League division one north 1-1 draw at Scraley Road on Tuesday night.
Swifts took the lead on 13 minutes through Andrew Joslin.
But, Redbridge took a share of the spoils with a late goal from Daniel Charge on 86 minutes.
It was their first point of the new season after their 3-1 defeat against Soham on Saturday.
Wilson said: “It was disappointing to give away a late goal.
“To be honest it felt worse than the defeat at the weekend.
“We had 90 per cent of the play and they only had two chances.
“Those were a header that Danny Sambridge tipped over in the first half and their equaliser, which was a great goal from a corner that the lad picked up on the edge of the box and fired in.
“We missed six or seven golden chances to score.
“But I asked for a reaction after Saturday and I got one.
“We just don’t seem to be getting the rub of the green at the moment.”
