HEYBRIDGE Swifts boss Jody Brown will not prepare any differently ahead of their crunch game against Witham Town.

Swifts secured a 2-0 win at Tilbury on Tuesday night, to back up their 3-1 win at Romford on Saturday to keep their Ryman League division one north play-off push on course.

And with a busy Easter weekend coming up Brown will face title contenders Witham Town at Scraley Road on Saturday.

Brown said: “I think it will be a great day.

“And I am sure both sets of fans and players are eagerly awaiting the match.

“However, I won’t approach the game any different to any other.

“I am not going to say it is just another game, because it isn’t, there’s a lot at stake for both clubs.

“I will try and do my homework on Witham and pick the right personnel for the job.

“We will prepare for it as we usually do.”

Swifts then face AFC Sudbury on Easter Monday and Brown will be looking to change things around.

He said: “I will rotate my squad but not for the sake of rotation.

“I am getting to know my players now, know what they can do and what type of game to play them in.

“So I can manage my team to the best of their abilities.”
