FIVE Lakes celebrated the England Golf GolfMark accreditation at the annual Crowne Plaza invitational competition for all sections.
More than 90 members enjoyed the competition which started with a shotgun start.
The guest of honour was BBC Look East’s Stewart White who presented the prizes and the GolfMark plaque.
GolfMark is a national accreditation that identifies and recognises junior and beginner friendly golf facilities.
It involves keys areas of the golf club from, coaching and playing, club environment (including sports equity & ethics) including child protection and duty of care for all members.
Having acquired the GolfMark standard Five Lakes are providing facilities for supported coaching for juniors and new members alike.
This year’s winner of the Crowne Plaza Trophy was Frank Taylor (21) with 39 points.
